This historic Black History Month celebration featured over 50 Black-owned businesses. Vendors included fine art, cuisine and sweets, health & wellness products, clothing, jewelry, and accessories; the Buffalo Soldiers Museum, Northwest African American Museum, The Unspoken Truths Traveling Black History Museum, and an exhibit of authentic slave era quilts. Services included youth engagement, consulting, financial planning, graphic design, event planning, among many more.
Performances included a keynote speech by King County Councilmember Larry Gossett; features by Northwest Tap Connection (Official), Black Stax, Xola Malik, Gypsy Temple, Darrell Fisher-Magician. Seattle Fashion Week presented a runway show of African American designers featuring local models of all shades of the African diaspora.
